Description of characteristics

Chloroprene rubber is one of the elastomers successfully synthesized by DuPont in 1931. It is prepared from the copolymer emulsion of chlorine and butadiene. Cr is a multifunctional elastomer, and its overall physical properties are quite balanced. It has good ozone resistance, weatherability, anti-aging properties, and is resistant to oil and many chemicals. At the same time, it has good mechanical properties, flame retardant and good low temperature elasticity. It is not resistant to phosphate ester and oxidation.

Service temperature

The standard operating temperature of chloroprene varies from - 40 ℃ to 150 ℃ depending on the grade. Generally speaking, when the temperature exceeds 100 ℃, its service life will be shortened.

Between 30 and 90 degrees (Shore A).

colour

Currently available in black, white, yellow, and blue. The color can also be specified by the customer.

application

Chloroprene rubber can be used to manufacture rubber products and adhesives such as transmission belt, transportation belt, wire and cable, oil resistant rubber plate, oil resistant hose, sealing material, etc. Chloroprene rubber is also used in refrigerant R-22 system.
